Frank Solivan and Dirty Kitchen serve up a bluegrass, ”new grass” stew with instrumental, vocal and songwriting skills so hot, they have been named Washington Area Music Association’s Best Bluegrass Band of the Year for four consecutive years. Solivan and his band - Mike Munford, 2013 IBMA Banjo Player of the Year; award winning guitarist Chris Luquette; and bassist Jeremy Middleton – will be joined by special guests Rob Ickes and Trey Hensley. Rob Ickes has been playing bluegrass with his much-decorated band Blue Highway for over twenty years, during which time he has been adjudged Bluegrass Dobro Player Of the Year fifteen times.
