GREAT UPDATE 11-29-2007 Wonderful news for Jon, family, and friends, as of Sunday, November 18, Jon has had a successful liver transplant, the liver is making bile, and he is off oxygen. We visited with Jon on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 22, at University of Maryland Hospital, where friends and family gathered for fellowship and a Thanksgiving meal with all of the trimmings! When we were about to go they carted Jon off to remove more of the tubes left in from the operation, (more good news!). Thank you for your continued prayers and support. With good recovery, continued strength, and encouragement, Baltimore Jonny will once again be making the beautiful violin music we are so accustomed to. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 10-19-2007 Jon is in critical condition struggling to regain his strength to undergo a liver transplant without which he will not survive.
